Chief Executive Officer, Toll Global Resources
Mr David Jackson joined Toll in 1996 as General Manager of Toll SPD.
As part of the Toll SPD Long Distance Division, Mr Jackson was largely responsible for integrating the Brambles and TNT full load businesses. He held the position of General Manager for seven years
Mr Jackson was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Toll NZ in October 2003, following the takeover of New Zealand’s Tranz Rail business.
Over the following five years he led the Toll NZ business through a significant change process including delisting, before being sold back to the New Zealand Government in 2008.
In 2009 David was appointed to the role of Chief Executive of Toll Global Resources.
Prior to joining Toll he held a number of positions with K&S Freighters including State Manager and National Intermodal Manager.
Company Secretary, Toll Holdings Limited
Mr Bernard McInerney is Company Secretary for Toll Holdings Limited.
He joined Toll not long after the 1993 public float, in March 1994, as General Manager Finance and Company Secretary.
Since the, Mr McInerney has been a key member of the management team through Toll’s extraordinary acquisitive growth, including the acquisition of Patrick Corporation – which has been described as the “biggest and toughest hostile takeover in Australian history”.
Prior to joining Toll, Mr McInerney worked for five years in a Melbourne-based local transport and container group and prior to that, five years within the transport division of a major international transport group.
Mr McInerney’s interests include his family life, beach volleyball, jetskiing and travel.
